These brand new, never used 5 GALLON barrels are handcrafted from American white oak and perfect for aging small batches of whiskey, bourbon, wine, cider, or beer. Each barrel imparts rich oak character during the aging process, enhancing your beverage with smooth vanilla and spice notes depending on your char level.
Because these barrels are new and dry, they must be swelled with hot water before filling. Each one includes a wooden 1 5/16″ bung, but for easier long-term use, we recommend a #7 silicone bung (sold separately). Barrel stand not included.
